The distributed fiber optic temperature measurement system can perform real-time temperature measurement of the plant cable trench area and any position of the cable bridges and trenches in the power distribution room, achieving prevention first. Once the measured environmental temperature value or temperature rise rate on the cable bridge exceeds the set threshold, the system automatically alarms and sends the real-time alarm signal to the monitoring room via Ethernet or relay for the duty officer to handle.
The measurement host and industrial computer are placed in the monitoring room, and the industrial computer is installed with the server application software of the distributed fiber optic temperature measurement system. The industrial computer is connected to one LCD display via the VGA interface for displaying temperature distribution curves, a visual interface and alarm information. The sensing cable is fusion-spliced with the pigtail, and the splicing part is protected in the cable joint box. The sensing cable leads out from the measurement host and is laid closely along the cables in a line shape; at key positions, plastic cable ties can be used to fix the sensing cable and the cables together.
This solution provides DTS server software and client software. The use of PC-to-PC communication technology means that on-site information can be reproduced at a remote control center, which is of great help for unmanned control rooms. In this project, data exchange can be performed by connecting the control room computer with the control center computer. The specific connections of the fiber optic temperature measurement system manufacturer are as follows:
1. The VGA interface of the measurement host is connected to one LCD display (in the monitoring room) to display the temperature information (text and graphics) collected by the system.
2. The RJ45 interface of the measurement host can connect the host to the enterprise LAN via a Modem, enabling users' computers to remotely view temperature and alarm information.
3. The LED indicators of the measurement host display the operating status, system faults (fiber fault, hardware fault, etc.) and fire alarm information, and provide sound signals (continuous sound for faults, intermittent sound for fire).
4. The RS232 interface of the measurement host can connect external devices, such as the fire alarm controller, to achieve fire linkage control.
